Caiba and Nosoplás agree on their merger process to strengthen their position in the PET sector
Caiba, S.A. and Nosoplás, S.L.U. have reached an agreement to move forward with a merger process, the completion of which is expressly subject to obtaining the relevant regulatory and competition approvals, as well as compliance with the customary legal and corporate procedures.
The transaction reflects a strategic decision aimed at integrating complementary industrial capabilities and strengthening their joint positioning in the PET sector, covering the entire value chain, from recycling to transformation.
From an industrial and commercial perspective, the combination of both organizations would improve the value proposition for customers, optimize the operating structure, and accelerate the development of more sustainable solutions, laying a solid foundation for future growth from a long-term perspective.
Until regulatory and competition approvals are obtained and the transaction is effectively closed, both companies will continue to operate independently and as usual, ensuring business continuity, operational continuity, and uninterrupted customer service.
About Caiba
Caiba is a company specialized in the design and manufacturing of PET and HDPE preforms and containers, mainly for the oils, water, and beverages sectors, as well as for non-food applications (pharmaceutical, cosmetic, among others). In 2024, it reached approximately 110 million euros in sales. The company has a workforce of around 350 employees and operates three production plants (Ribarroja, Alcalá, and Toledo).
About Nosoplás
Nosoplás is a company dedicated to the manufacturing of recycled PET resins and PET preforms for the water and beverages sectors. In 2024, it recorded approximately 115 million euros in sales. The company has a workforce of around 150 employees and operates two production plants (Bergondo and Tarancón).
